Lincolnshire lies in the East of England and is the second biggest county in the country.
Visitors come to this area for the coast and seaside holidays to be had in the beautiful stone towns and on the long, sandy beaches. Skegness is world famous for its pier, amusements and sands, while the Lincolnshire Wolds attract intrepid hikers, bikers and relaxers. Accommodation here ranges from caravan site and camping to top class hotels and seaside resorts.
There are always plenty of events taking place and the area is known for its good food delighting the palate and shopping basket with ocean delicacies and good traditional fare like cream teas and superbly tasty sausages. Be prepared to gain a few pounds!
