Littlehampton West Beach is located Littlehampton, West Sussex, UK
Littlehampton West Beach is just across the bridge from the main Littlehamton family east beach and is much quieter. Part of the Local Nature Reserve (LNR) and the Climping Beach Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), which has national protection. It includes the sand flats, shingle, sand dunes and all animals that feed on them. One of only 3 sand dune systems in West Sussex.
Facilities include:
Pay and display car park available along with toilets and a small cafe.
More facilities also a short walk across the bridge to the east beach and Littlehampton town centre.

Sep 2012 - Away from it all
Review for location =, activites = , families = and relaxation = A good place to get away from the busy tourist traps. We just spent the time relaxing and building sand castles. Cafe was good.
Oct 2010 - So close to Littlehampton but also so far away
Review for location =, activites = , families = and relaxation = This beach is such a contrast to Littlehampton's main beaches. It can be walked to from Littlehampton but rather than being backed by promenade and park this has a large dune system.
Excellent for relaxation or water sports away from the Littlehampton crowds. The only disappointment is that the dunes are pretty much all fenced off in order to protect them and the wildlife.
Great walking down towards Climping and for the real energetic continue on to Middleton-on-Sea, we did this when the tide was low and could walk all the way on the beach.
