Middleton-on-Sea Beach Guide & Information
Middleton-on-Sea Beach is located Bognor Regis, West Sussex, UK
Middleton-on-Sea beach is a great family beach that has a high water pebble area and then sand at mid to low tide. At low tide you can walk for miles in either direction to Bognor Regis or Littlehampton.
The beach has a high bank with grass area, but the pebbles can be steep to go down. You gave good rock pools at low tide around the coast defences. The sea defence rocks also provide some natural protection from an on-shore wind.
Due to parking dificulties always space available.
Facilities include:
Very hard to park by Middletion beach as the area is full of private estates.
Pubs, cafe and shops in Middleton-on-Sea just behind the beach.
Dogs allowed.

The whole coast from Middleton-on-Sea to Elmer is all private estates. Parking is a problem as the nearest public carpark is more than half a mile walk to the beach as it is near the village shops this is also the only place where you can find public toilets nearby.
Overall the beach is very similar to Felpham or Clymping nearby which both have provision for the needs of seaside visitors including cafe, toilets and parking.
Having said that this beach can be much quieter than those nearby as they are usually only used by local residents who have the benefit of using their home facilities!
